Mans Greback
Måns Grebäck is a designer and one-person foundry based in Sweden, dedicated to producing professional, high-quality fonts. Since releasing his first typeface in 2010, Måns has created an large and varied portfolio of original typography. Though he explores diverse styles, he is especially known for his vivid script and calligraphy designs. Each font by Måns Grebäck is crafted with care, combining artistic passion with functional precision to give designers the tools they need to create standout typography.

"I have always had a passion for drawing. It used to be just a hobby, but I was lucky enough to eventually turn it into a profession: Drawing letters. Typography, for me, is the perfect balance between design and functionality. Some parts of the process are abstract and highly creative, while others demand mathematical precision. I’m fascinated by what actually makes up a letter, how far the rules of typography can be pushed, and the new styles waiting to be discovered and rediscovered. Even after creating hundreds of typefaces, I still have a few more in me—and I can’t imagine ever stopping."

About the Designer.
Designer
Måns Grebäck is a type designer and artist living in Sweden and Portugal. He works in a range of graphic areas; beyond type design, Måns works in watercolor and explores graphic creation through artificial intelligence.

"I never had any formal training in calligraphy, or anything similar, and I’m not particularly good at free-hand script. When I create typefaces I try to make each glyph in as much detail as possible from the beginning, and create them by concentrating on the details, even on the fonts that have a more sloppy feeling. Spontaneity is good, but that has not been how I’ve created the majority of my typefaces. This may be a weakness of mine, but I think it’s often a good thing too. The ideal is most likely somewhere in between spontaneous and perfection."
